Build the foundations of strong English writing. Children learn how to plan, draft, and revise stories, descriptive pieces, and personal narratives — with live marking from experienced teachers.
Age 13–15 · S1–S3 · Small group of 4-6
Sharpen exam-ready writing for DSE and IGCSE. Teens master argument structure, voice, and the craft of persuasive essays — with model compositions every term.

Benjamin holds a BA (Hons) Interior Design from Glasgow School of Arts (in conjunction with Singapore Institute of Technology). Inspired by his own mentors, he integrates spontaneity and creativity into his lessons to make learning engaging while consistently achieving academic goals. He firmly believes learning extends beyond grades, focusing on cultivating independent mindsets from a young age and nurturing students' self-confidence and resilience for future challenges.
Teacher Nicolette is a dedicated educator holding an M.Ed. in English Language from National Institute of Education, Singapore; and a B.A. (Hons.) in English Literature from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. With over 8 years of experience in teaching English and writing, she excels at creating positive, goal-driven learning environments. Her extensive expertise includes developing primary creative writing curricula and designing professional teacher training workshops, driven by her core belief that teaching and learning are mutually fulfilling.
Cherry is a highly qualified educator holding a degree in English Studies and Translation from the University of Hong Kong, with top scores in HKDSE English (5*) and IELTS (7.5). With over 10 years of private tutoring experience and professional qualifications in speech and language training, she creates a caring, interactive, and creative learning environment. Her teaching focuses on inspiring independent learning, boosting academic interest, and nurturing students' confidence, communication skills, and resilience for the future.
Teacher Daniel holds a B.Ed. (Hons.) in Principles and Methods of Language Education from the United States Institute for Language and Clerical Studies. Having taught in the US, Mainland China, and Hong Kong, he brings a wealth of diverse international experience to the classroom. Teacher Kenning is a curriculum instructor and subject head who graduated from the Department of English at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and previously served as an HKEAA DSE marker. With 5 years of teaching experience, he specializes in Second Language Acquisition (SLA), English pedagogy, and curriculum design. Combining academic rigor with a caring approach, Kenning emphasizes "learning how to learn" over rote memorization and excels at simplifying complex concepts for students of all levels. His tailored, exam-aligned methodology has led to remarkable student progress, helping primary students improve by up to 22 marks and secondary students leap by up to 3 grades.
Teacher Lois holds an MA (with Distinction) in Scriptwriting and Writing for Screen from Falmouth University, and a BSocSc (Hons) in Applied Social Sciences jointly offered by City University of Hong Kong and Sheffield Hallam University. Since 2018, she has worked professionally in communication, content development, and editing, bringing three years of specialized English writing teaching experience to her classes. Lois tailors her guidance to each student's unique writing style and learning needs. Combining diverse perspectives with practical insights, she aims to inspire students to enjoy and understand writing, empowering them to produce resonant and impactful work.
Teacher Sandy boasts a distinguished academic background, holding an MA in Applied Linguistics from NIE, NTU, an MA in English Literary Studies from HKU, a PGDE from HKBU, and an ATCL Diploma in Speech and Drama from Trinity College London. With over twenty years of teaching experience, her passion for literature, linguistics, and drama transforms her classroom into a vibrant stage.
